The Scout Day and Campout is on Friday, Jun 1st at Victory Field.

Experience Baseball Up Close as the Indians take on Syracuse. After the game, enjoy a fantastic fireworks show. As the crowd exits the stadium, the fun really begins on Boy Scout Campout and Girl Scout Campout Nights. Enjoy popcorn and a movie in the stadium before taking to the outfield to set up your tents. Run around the field, sleep under the stars and watch the rest of the movie before breakfast on Saturday.

If the campout is postponed due to the weather, the make up date is July 13th.

Please join us for our annual Fishing Derby at Eagle Creek Park on Saturday, June 2nd.

This year, we’ll be having a fishing derby in conjunction with Indiana DNR’s Free Fishing Weekend at Eagle Creek Park on Saturday, June 2nd from 8AM – noon. As it is Indiana’s Free Fishing Weekend, there will be no fee to enter the park and no fishing license needed. Poles, tackle and bait will be provided by the Indiana DNR. Feel free to bring your own, if you’d like, but otherwise all necessary equipment will be available to you. Also, the Eagle Creek Park is planning a fun fishing derby, knot tying demonstrations, casting clinics and fish cleaning and cooking classes. There will be food and refreshments as well.

Please join us for our annual Pinewood Derby at CrossBridge  Baptist Church on Saturday, March 2nd.

Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and all cars competing in the Den and Pack races must be registered by 10 a.m. Your scout does not need to be present to register their car or race. If the scout is unable to attend, please notify a scout leader that someone else is registering/racing their car. We will have an “open class” race immediately following the Den races for anyone who has built their own car. So long as the car fits on the track and doesn’t disturb other racers, it can be run. This is a great opportunity for dads, tagalongs, friends, etc. to race their car.
